AYCE sushi for $15.99 at lunch time is an insane deal. They have a little self-service salad bar and a miso soup station to the side. The lunch menu includes vegetable tempura and edamame, both of which I gladly munched on. The sushi is an amazing value and I have not gotten sick once from the handful of times Iβve been here.

As an all-you-can-eat sushi connoisseur, this place is a gem! The dinner AYCE has lots of delicious options. My three favorite rolls are the salmon avocado roll, the Alaskan roll and the Hawaiian roll. The chefs are awesome and the Asian female waitress who is always on duty is super nice and always greats me warmly as she knows I'm a regular! I am in love with this place! I'd only suggest they consider adding the rainbow roll to the AYCE menu. It's a very popular roll and in the menu of most AYCE places and I think adding it would take Sushi Shack up another notch in competitiveness!

My wife and I stopped into Sushi Shack after visiting Paint Nβ Party next door. The $16 all-you-can-eat lunch seemed like a solid deal. At first, we liked it. The space is cozy, with old-school hand-painted art on the walls. The salad bar and miso soup were a great start. The sushi rolls were large, and the rice was decent. Overall, most of it tasted okay. Iβd place it a notch or two below grocery store sushi, except for one roll in particular. The Love Roll, a California roll topped with a mix of βfresh fish,β was immediately off-putting. The fish smelled almost rancid, and the texture was firm in a way that suggested it had dried out. We did overorder, and thereβs a 70-cent charge per leftover piece. I explained that we couldnβt finish the Love Roll because the fish quality seemed off. I wasnβt rude, and I mentioned that the rest of the rolls were fine. The waitress reacted strongly and seemed offended. She told me I just hadnβt had albacore before and said theyβve been open for 10 years, adding that I shouldnβt call their fish bad just because I didnβt like it. I was surprised by how quickly the situation escalated, especially in front of other diners. I tried to clarify t

My husband and I have our lunch date here every weekend. Genuinely not interested in any other sushi place. Food is always fresh, delicious, plated well. For under $17, all the sushi you can eat before 3:30. Dinner price is $25, all you can eat. Tempura and salad bar is included in that price. The staff is friendly and attentive. Always leave full and satisfied βΊοΈ
